In 2022, Shiwu came to the Maldives for a break. Rasdhoo did more than leave photographs behind: it brought together people who love diving, travel and island life. That is how 1586 became both a dive centre and a place friends want to return to whenever they are in the Maldives.

Can I come to 1586 if I have never dived?
Yes. Depending on age, health, time and comfort, we can suggest a discovery dive, a full course, snorkelling or island activities. Certification is never assumed to be right for everyone.
Can the experience be arranged in Chinese?
Chinese pre-trip communication, briefings and course support can be prioritised. Instructor availability is confirmed with your dates.
Can I dive without staying on the local island?
Yes. Share your resort, sailing dates or transfer needs and the team will check whether same-day travel and diving are practical.
How do I start planning?
